About Us
Home of a rare line of GSD made in Alaska! We are a specialized kennel 32 miles north of Fairbanks, Alaska. We are just starting this awesome adventure with our canines and with to share it with the right people with the right need and understanding.
We have extensive dog training, raising, breeding, knowledge and experience that began in the early 1980's. We specialized in working dogs because of the Alaskan lifestyle and dependency on canines for work. Although we never intended on being breeders, we found a very special bloodline that we cannot, in good conscience, let pass away into obscurity. She was the last of her bloodline that could reproduce this unique maternal line.
The start of the line
We found Ca'ra purely by happenstance. She is a very special dog with a multitude of traits that makes her uniquely rare, one being a "full sensory" dog. A trait highly sought after for service dogs. All her pups carry this ability so far to date. We are doing this purely to keep the maternal bloodline going. Very few people will be blessed with one of these miracles, we are not a factory.
We specialize in a "more difficult" GSD bloodline. These dogs are intended specifically for individuals with the knowledge, care, experience, and life-long dedication for a true work line shepherd that MUST perform jobs for you. They are highly adaptive, extremely loyal, very powerful, and at about 125% the size of a normal GSD.
We are breeding two separate lines from Cara now. One for service dogs, the other an excellent protection animal.
The care we show
Our animals get the utmost care for life and longevity. The pups are given a rich protein diet essential to maximizing full growth potentials at an early age. In essence.... they are spoiled rotten and get the best of everything. We treat each and every pup as our own grandchildren.... because in a way they are.
We strive to make every effort for our buyers to succeed in what could very well be one of the strongest canine/human relationships as these animals will attached to primarily one person for their entire life. We understand this aspect and strive to ensure every candidate will have the best opportunity to succeed in raising of one of these beasts.
